Direct transmission
Bhajans learned aurally through repetition, text, melody, rhythm, and collective voice.
Retreats & workshops
Immersive gatherings create time for oral learning, translation, body, breath, silence, reflection, and the gradual formation of a singing community.
Naad Brahma
Priyal has organized five Naad Brahma retreats with Prahlad Singh Tipaniya Ji.
Participants learn Kabir bhajans directly, receive English meanings, and return to the songs across several days. Priyal teaches yoga and meditation alongside the musical work, allowing poetry to be approached through body, breath, attention, and shared practice.
These are not wellness experiences borrowing music as atmosphere. The song remains central; contemplative practice supports the quality of listening through which it can be received.
The retreat arc
Each gathering is shaped around the teacher, participants, place, and time available.
Bhajans learned aurally through repetition, text, melody, rhythm, and collective voice.
English meanings open a doorway while acknowledging that no single rendering exhausts a sung poem.
Yoga, meditation, breath, and silence help participants become receptive rather than merely informed.
